January 14th - 17th, 2009: The St. Louis Racquet Club is holding their "2009 St. Louis Racquet Club Invitational Open", a $6,000 PSA Super Satellite tournament featuring an entry list of up and coming international professional players. The number one seed is Mohammed Alianwar Reda from Egypt, who is ranked 54 in the world.
The event is not open to the public, but members of the US Squash Association are welcome to contact Mike Puertas at the club about admission.
The draw, with match times, for the event is available as a pdf here.

November 21st, 2008: The Missouri Athletic Club saw a spirited clash between the club's two Squash Pros, Scott Denne and Heidi Mather. Billed as "Thunder From Down Under", the two Austalians put on a great exhibition match which was enthusiastically watched by a large crowd.
Scott emerged the winner 2 - 1 after losing the second game to Heidi, who came back from behind to the cheers of her many women supporters.
This was the first opportunity that many of the new members had had to watch squash played at this level and they went away suitably impressed.
Photo coverage of the event is available here.
